His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party pen his signature to the 2019 National Peace Accord.

On 12th December 2018, His Excellency, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, the Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, arrived The Kukah Centre, Secretariat of the National Peace Committee, to pen his signature to the 2019 National Peace Accord. He was accompanied by the National Chairman of PDP, Uche Secondus and other senior aides. On hand to receive him were His Excellency, General Abdulsalam Abubakar, National Peace Committee (NPC) Chairman, Fr. Atta Barkindo, Head of Secretariat, NPC, Dr. Mohammed Ibn Chambas Special Representative to the United Nations Secretary-General (SRSG), UN Office for West Africa and the Sahel (UNOWAS) and Special Envoy for Nigeria, His Excellency, Stuart Symington, United States Ambassador to Nigeria, EU delegation and many other important dignitaries.
